Our client is seeking a skilled Welder to join their team. This position is open to all candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit, and offers immigration support for qualified applicants.

Job Details

• Location: Lethbridge, AB
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $37.00 hourly / 40 hours per week
• Employment Type: Permanent, Full time
• Flexible Hours: Day Shift

Responsibilities

• Interpret welding process specifications
• Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment
• Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals, and processes
• Operate flame-cutting equipment
• Operate metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines
• Perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment

Qualifications

• Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1–2 years
• Experience: 2 to less than 3 years in welding
• Certifications: Welder Trade Red Seal Certificate required

Working Conditions

• Fast-paced environment
• Physically demanding, including handling heavy loads (up to 45 kg / 100 lbs)
• Repetitive tasks with attention to detail
