Job Title: Waste Treatment Plant Operator
Overview
Our client is seeking a Waste Treatment Plant Operator. Visa sponsorship is potentially available for overseas candidates.
Job Details

- Salary: $24.00 to $36.00 hourly (To be negotiated)
- Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time

Responsibilities
- Analyze test results and instrument readings.
- Complete and maintain plant logs and reports.
- Help with installation, assembly, and repairs to equipment.
- Monitor and inspect plant equipment and systems to detect malfunctions.
- Ensure plant systems and equipment operate within prescribed limits.
- Start up and shut down power plant equipment.
- Operate automated or computerized control systems.
- Maintain daily log of operation, maintenance, and safety activities.
- Issue work and test permits to maintenance personnel.
- Complete and maintain station records and reports.
- Assist in developing operation, maintenance, and safety procedures.
- Assist during routine systems testing and problem isolation.
Qualifications
Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years in a relevant field.
Skills
- Excellent oral communication.
- Flexibility and reliability.
- Dependability and teamwork skills.
Security and Safety
- Criminal record check and basic security clearance required.
