Warehouse Supervisor Job Description

Our client is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee operational logistics in Mississauga, Ontario. This role offers the possibility of immigration support for international candidates as well as options for those with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

• Location: 2609 Dunwin Drive, Mississauga, ON, L5L 3N9
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $19.05 per hour for 40 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full time
• Special Commitments: Day shifts

Responsibilities

• Develop specific plans to prioritize tasks.
• Organize tasks to accomplish work objectives.
• Oversee operational logistics of the organization.
• Co-ordinate activities with other units or departments.
• Prepare and submit reports to management.
• Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery.
• Arrange maintenance and repair work.
• Resolve work problems and provide technical advice.
• Train workers in duties and policies.
• Co-ordinate, assign, and review work activities.
• Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Establish work schedules and procedures.

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
• Languages: English
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Windows
• Planning Specialization: Waste management

Work Conditions

• Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Handling heavy loads up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
