Our client is seeking dedicated Waiters/Waitresses for a permanent, full-time position. This role offers potential immigration support for international candidates, including those with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Location: 100 Flemming Drive, Wabowden, MB R0B 1S0
• Salary: $15.80 per hour, 80 hours bi-weekly
• Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
• Work Setting: On-site, Restaurant in a rural area

Responsibilities

• Address customers’ complaints or concerns.
• Present bills to customers and accept payment in various forms.
• Describe menu items including daily specials to customers.
• Advise on menu selections.
• Balance cash and record sales.
• Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
• Greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages.
• Serve food and beverages.
• Take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff.
• Train staff.
• Assist clients/guests with special needs.
• Provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in a similar role.
• Certificates: Safe Food Handling certificate.
• Skills: Proficient in point of sale systems.

Working Conditions

• Fast-paced environment.
• Physically demanding; must be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• Work under pressure and stand for extended periods.
