Job Overview
Our client is looking for a Veterinary Technician to join their team. This role is well-suited for candidates who may require visa sponsorship, as immigration support is potentially available.

- Work Location: On site
- Salary: $22.00 per hour (40 hours per week)
- Employment Type: Permanent, Full time
- Special Commitments: Morning, Day, Evening, Flexible hours

Education & Experience
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
Work Setting
- Relocation costs covered by employer
Key Responsibilities
- Collect samples and perform laboratory tests
- Handle, restrain, and care for animals undergoing treatment and surgery
- Produce diagnostic radiographs
- Assist the veterinarian before, during, and after surgery
- Prepare and administer medications and vaccines under the direction of the veterinarian
- Administer treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian
- Counsel clients on animal healthcare
- Conduct and assist in laboratory research
- Perform office management and clerical duties
- Provide nursing care and rehabilitation therapy for animals
- Provide wound and bandage care
