Recruitment Incentives

About the Opportunity

The Vascular Diagnostic Technologist will report to the Manager and will be involved in providing various vascular testing modalities, including shift work and on-call services.

About You

• Graduate of a recognized Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound Program or equivalent with Vascular Specialty
• Current (or eligible) for registration with NSCMIRTP
• Current credentialed member of Sonography Canada as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
• Current CPR Certification
• Recent clinical experience in a non-Invasive Vascular Lab is preferred
• Ability to maintain good relationships with patients, families, and co-workers
• Ability to work with minimum supervision, on a consultative basis, within the health care team
• Strong sense of initiative and responsibility
• Ability to adapt to flexible workload and stressful situations
• Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours

• Long assignment full-time position; 75 hours biweekly
• Approximately 15 months
• Monday to Friday 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm; subject to change as operationally required

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation ranges from $41.75 to $51.17 per hour. Successful candidates may also be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, travel, long-term disability, life insurance coverage, and a defined benefit pension plan.
