Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Truck Driver, Truck-Trailer to join their team. Visa sponsorship may be considered for the right candidate, including candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Location: Rosser, MB
• Workplace Information: On-site
• Salary: $30.00 per hour / 40 to 50 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time

Responsibilities

• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
• Oversee condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
• Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of the vehicle
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption
• Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: Experience an asset
• Certificates, Licences:
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks)

• Languages: English
• Work Conditions: Physically demanding, requires repetitive tasks
• Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
• Travel Requirements: Willing to travel cross-border, internationally, and overnight
