Job Overview

Our client is seeking a dedicated Truck Driver Supervisor to join their team. We welcome applications from candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Location: Acton, ON
• Workplace Information: On site
• Salary: $45.72 hourly / 35 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent full-time
• Special Commitments: Day, Evening, Overtime, Morning

Responsibilities

• Recommend measures to improve work methods
• Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and improve productivity and product quality
• Supervise workers and projects
• Dispatch bus drivers and monitor routes
• Co-ordinate and schedule activities
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
• Co-ordinate repairs and rentals
• Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies

Supervision

• Supervision of 5-10 people

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in trucking
• Languages: English
