Our client is actively seeking a truck driver to join their team. This position may provide support for candidates with a valid Canadian work permit, as well as those without one. This is an excellent opportunity for both local and international applicants.

Responsibilities

• Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions using GPS and navigation devices to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy.
• Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment.
• Perform brake adjustments and pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption.
• Ensure the safety and security of cargo.
• Transport and handle dangerous goods.

Credentials Required

• AZ class license
• Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
