Truck Driver Position

Our client is seeking a dedicated truck driver to join their team. Visa sponsorship may be considered for international applicants, including candidates with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

• Location: Mississauga, ON
• Salary: $34.08 per hour / 32 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
• Overtime required

Overview

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

This is considered a green job, contributing to positive environmental outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Address customers’ complaints or concerns
• Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques
• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
• Load and unload goods
• Obtain special permits and documents required for transporting cargo
• Operate and drive trucks to transport goods
• Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspection
• Maintain vehicle condition and perform preventive maintenance
• Record cargo information and fuel consumption
• Transport and handle dangerous goods

Credentials

• AZ class license
