This position is open to all candidates, including those without a valid Canadian work permit. Our client is seeking a dedicated Truck Driver for permanent, full-time employment.

Job Details

• Location: Chapleau, ON
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $26.44 hourly for 40 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time
• Vacancies: 1

Responsibilities

• Arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations.
• Load and unload goods.
• Obtain special permits and other documents required for international cargo transport.
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Inspect vehicle condition, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage.
• Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
• Relay information to central dispatch.
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption.
• Tarp and ensure the safety and security of cargo.

Requirements

Education

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

Previous experience is an asset.

Languages

English proficiency required.
