Our client is seeking a dedicated Truck Driver to join their team. This position offers visa sponsorship options for candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit, making it an excellent opportunity for international applicants.
Job Details
- Location: Calgary, AB
- Salary: $36.00/hour, 35 to 40 hours per week
- Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time

Responsibilities
- Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions using GPS and other navigation tools to minimize fuel consumption.
- Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring compliance with transportation regulations.
- Operate a straight or articulated truck to transport goods and materials.
- Inspect the vehicle for safety and operational issues.
- Record essential information related to cargo, including hours of service and fuel consumption.
Credentials
- Must possess an AZ class license.
- Air Brakes Endorsement is required.
Additional Information
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Previous experience is considered an asset.
- Communication: Operate GPS and other navigation equipment.
- Security and Safety Requirements: Valid passport, criminal record check, medical exam, and driving record check.
