• Salary: $22.00 hourly / 35 to 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using navigation devices.
• Address customer complaints or concerns with professionalism.
• Drive lighter, special purpose trucks.
• Load and unload goods.
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Oversee vehicle condition and inspect essential equipment.
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
• Record cargo information, distance travelled, and fuel consumption.
• Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo.
• Transport and handle dangerous goods.

Qualifications

Education

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

• Experience is an asset

Certifications

• Air Brakes Endorsement
• Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles)
