Salary: $36.00 per hour / 40 hours per week

Overview

This position requires a professional truck driver with strong customer service skills. The role involves driving as part of a two-person team, ensuring the safety and integrity of the cargo, and performing inspections and maintenance on the vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Professionalism in customer service
• Arrange travel and make reservations
• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
• Load and unload goods
• Inspect vehicle conditions and equipment
• Perform brake adjustments and preventive maintenance
• Record cargo information and maintain driver logs
• Tarp and ensure safety and security of cargo

Qualifications

Education

• No degree, certificate or diploma required

Experience

• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience

Required Certifications

• AZ class license
• Air Brakes Endorsement
• Class 1/A License for semi-trailer trucks
• WHMIS Certificate
