Our client is seeking a truck driver for a permanent, full-time position. This role offers immigration support for overseas candidates, including options for candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

• Salary: $35.30 per hour
• Working Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week
• Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time

Responsibilities

• Address customers’ complaints or concerns
• Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques
• Mountain driving expertise
• Professionalism in customer service
• Arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations
• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
• Obtain special permits to transport cargo on international routes
• Inspect vehicle condition and equipment
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch
• Record cargo information and fuel consumption
• Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo

Qualifications

• Languages: English
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
• Type of trucking: Tractor-trailer
• Transportation/Travel Experience: Local and Long-haul
