• Salary: $36.25 hourly for 30 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems.
• Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit.
• Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
• Review work orders.
• Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Complete reports to record problems and work performed.

Education and Experience Required

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in a similar role.

Additional Information

• Security and Safety: Criminal record check required.
• Transportation and Travel: Valid driver’s licence necessary.
• Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment; attention to detail is essential.
