Our client is seeking a Travel Agent for a permanent full-time position. Immigration support may be considered for the right candidate, including options for overseas applicants.

Job Details

• Location: Abbotsford, BC
• Salary: $20.25 hourly, 32 to 40 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
• Vacancies: 2

Responsibilities

• Attend to other financial transactions, such as plane tickets and travel insurance.
• Calculate cost of travel and accommodations.
• Investigate new travel areas, hotels, and other amenities.
• Perform general office duties.
• Sell travel products and travel insurance.
• Utilize marketing strategy and sales techniques for promoting services.
• Attend to cancellations and schedule changes.
• Provide travel information to clients regarding destinations, transportation, and accommodation options.

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
• Language: Proficiency in English required
