• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Industrial engineering
• Business administration and management, general

Experience: 5 years or more

• Freight company

Responsibilities

• Evaluate daily operations
• Monitor department’s performance
• Plan and organize daily operations
• Plan for changes to schedules and policies
• Prepare reports for senior management
• Recruit, supervise, and train staff
• Manage finances or budget
• Arrange shipping documentation and track goods in transit
• Ensure transport compliance with regulations
• Establish policies and standards for transportation and storage of goods
• Negotiate services and rates
• Oversee scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods
• Monitor service rates and revenue
• Organize and maintain inventory
• Record cargo information, service hours, distance and fuel consumption

Supervision

• More than 20 people

Additional Information

Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver’s license is required.
