Our client is seeking a Transportation Logistics Coordinator to oversee operational logistics within an urban area. Immigration support may be available for suitable overseas candidates.

• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $34.65 per hour, 30 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, full-time

Primary Responsibilities

• Compile orders and instructions received from customers.
• Oversee operational logistics of the organization.
• Plan and organize operational logistics for efficiency.
• Track and complete work orders.
• Coordinate activities with other departments.
• Maintain work records and logs.
• Resolve workplace problems, providing technical advice.
• Negotiate prices and transportation arrangements with suppliers.
• Compute shipping costs and answer customer inquiries.
• Maintain vehicle operator work records.

Qualifications

• Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
• Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years in a related field.
• Language Requirement: Bilingual.
