Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Transport Truck Driver to join their team. Visa sponsorship may be considered for overseas candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Location: Various locations including Brampton and Mississauga, ON
• Work location: On site
• Salary: $36.10 hourly for 40 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
• Special Commitments: Early morning, Evening, Night, Shift, Flexible hours
• Vacancies: 2

Responsibilities

• Plan or adjust routes using GPS and navigation devices
• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
• Load and unload goods, ensuring safety and security of cargo
• Inspect vehicle condition, perform maintenance and ensure compliance with regulations
• Transport and handle dangerous goods

Qualifications

• AZ class license required
• No degree, certificate, or diploma needed; will train

Experience and Specialization

• Experience with flatbed and tractor-trailer trucking
• Familiarity with driver logbooks and trip reports

Security and Safety

• Criminal record check and driving record check required
• Drug test and medical exam needed

Additional Information

• Must be willing to travel for extended periods and overnight
• Attention to detail and efficient interpersonal skills are essential
