This is an exciting opportunity for a Tow Truck Driver to join our client’s team. We are open to applications from all candidates, including those with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Location: Rocky View, AB
• Work Location: On-site
• Salary: $36.10 per hour / 35 to 40 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
• Vacancies: 3

Responsibilities

• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
• Perform brake adjustments
• Perform emergency roadside repairs
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption

Qualifications

• Language: English
• Education: No degree, certificate or diploma needed
• Experience: Will train
• Certificates: Driver’s License (Class 3 or D)
• Documentation Knowledge: Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip)
• Type of Trucking Equipment: Tow truck

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

• Physically demanding
• Repetitive tasks
• Weight handling up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
• Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
