Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Tow Truck Driver for permanent full-time employment. Visa sponsorship may be considered for qualified candidates.

Job Details

• Location: 130 Magill St, Lively, ON, P3Y 1K7
• Work Location: On-site
• Salary: $36.00 hourly / 40 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
• Vacancies: 5

Responsibilities

• Address customers’ complaints or concerns.
• Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques.
• Provide professionalism in customer service.
• Arrange travel, itineraries, and make reservations.
• Drive lighter, special purpose trucks.
• Oversee the vehicle’s condition and inspect tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment.
• Handle payments for goods.
• Perform brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs.
• Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Relay information to central dispatch.
• Ensure the safety and security of cargo through tarping.
• Transport and handle dangerous goods.

Qualifications

• Languages: English
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: Experience is an asset
• Driver’s Licence: Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles)
