Our client is seeking a skilled terrazzo finisher. We offer immigration support, potentially including options for candidates with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

• Location: 43 Carl st, Port Robinson, ON, L0S 1K0
• Salary: $36.00 hourly (30 to 40 hours per week)
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full time
• Special Commitments: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend

Responsibilities

• Prepare, measure and mark surfaces to be covered.
• Mix, apply and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue or other adhesives using hand trowel.
• Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools.
• Mix, lay and polish terra surfaces.

Qualifications

Education

• Other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience.

Experience

5 years or more in relevant field.

Credentials

• Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
• Fall Arrest Protection Training Course.

Work Environment

• Odours, Dusty, Noisy work site environment.
• Work setting: Commercial, Industrial, Institutional, Residential.
• Willing to relocate to various locations.

Additional Information

• Criminal record check required.
• Own transportation needed.
• Physically demanding job requiring handling heavy loads, bending, crouching, kneeling, and attention to detail.
• Tools and safety equipment required: Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat, Safety glasses/goggles.
