Position Summary

The Tender Manager role directly supports our mission to develop and deliver clean power plants, making 100% renewable energy a reality worldwide. You will collaborate with the local Sales team representing the Project Management organization during the tender and contract negotiation process. Your focus will be on risk mitigation and project execution topics such as scheduling, logistic studies, cost calculations, and contractual interfaces.

What You’ll Do

• Provide risk review and evaluation to the internal Sales project review process and ensure active transfer of risk mitigation measures to customer contract negotiations.
• Conduct cost calculations for project execution topics related to installation, crane works, logistics, and wind farm infrastructure.
• Conduct site surveys to check accessibility conditions in coordination with the PM logistics department.
• Facilitate smooth transitions into project operations by providing conceptual planning during the sales phase.
• Negotiate tenders and contracts for infrastructure services in coordination with the central management team.
• Represent our organization to clients, fostering good relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Participate in customer contract negotiations.
• Liaise with other departments like Engineering, Purchasing, Service, and Legal during the tendering phase.
• Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned.

What You Have

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent relevant experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in comparable positions, including full responsibility for multi-million-dollar contracts.
• Project management experience, preferably in the wind energy sector or turnkey construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of local regulations and legal requirements regarding construction works and HS&E.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and proactive thinking abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with SAP & Microsoft Projects preferred.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally to project sites.
• Fluency in German and/or Spanish is a plus.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and insurability under auto insurance policy.

Compensation and Benefits

The pay for this role is exempt at $167,000.00 – $192,000.00 CAD yearly with potential bonuses. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, and qualifications.
