Position: Sous-Chef

• Location: 888 Nelson St., Vancouver, BC
• Salary: $22.00 to $25.00 hourly (To be negotiated), 30 to 40 hours per week
• Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
• Vacancies: 1

Responsibilities

• Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
• Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to staff.
• Supervise activities of chefs, cooks, and kitchen workers.
• Instruct cooks in meal preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation.
• Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events.
• Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards.

Requirements

• Experience: 5 years or more in a similar role.
• Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
• Language: English proficiency.
