Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Sheet Metal Worker for a permanent, full-time position. This role may provide immigration support for overseas candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Location: 89 Mission Ridge Trail, Brampton, ON, L6P 3H6
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $36.00 hourly (30 to 35 hours per week)
• Terms of Employment: Permanent full-time
• Schedule: Morning, Weekend
• Vacancies: 1

Responsibilities

• Manufacture and assemble ducts for hot air heating, air conditioning, and ventilation.
• Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
• Select equipment for residential and small commercial construction.
• Measure and mark sheet metal according to template.
• Operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape, or straighten sheet metal.
• Grind and buff seams, joints, and rough surfaces.
• Estimate costs and materials.
• Fit and join sheet metal parts.
• Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes.

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
• Certificates: Sheet Metal Worker Trade Certification
