Job Overview

Our client is seeking a dedicated Server for food and beverage services. This position offers opportunities for visa sponsorship for eligible candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

• Location: Watson Lake, YT

• Salary: $18.00 hourly, 35 to 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns
• Present bills and accept payments
• Advise on menu selections
• Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs
• Greet patrons, present menus, and answer questions
• Serve food and beverages, and take orders
• Assist guests with special needs
• Provide customer service

Requirements

Education

• No degree, certificate, or diploma required

Experience

• 1 to less than 7 months preferred

Skills

• Knowledge of electronic cash registers and point of sale systems
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and heavy loads

Work Conditions

• Physically demanding, standing for extended periods
• Must be able to work under pressure
• Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs) to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
