Responsibilities

• Calculate crane capacities
• Load, unload, and transport construction materials
• Measure weight for rigging and hoisting
• Operate mobile and tower cranes to lift and position equipment
• Perform pre-operational inspections
• Clean and lubricate cranes
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, and barricades
• Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete
• Assemble tower cranes on site
• Assist in aligning pipes for construction
• Help with drilling and blasting rock
• Assist in building and roofing houses
• Level earth to specifications
• Clean up spills and debris on construction sites
