Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Sales Supervisor – Retail for their location in Scarborough, ON. This is a full-time permanent position with potential visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

Job Details

• Location: Scarborough, ON
• Salary: $36.50 per hour / 40 hours per week
• Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff (apprentices, stagehands, design team, etc.)
• Assign sales workers to duties
• Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
• Plan and develop exhibitions and displays for various events
• Authorize returns of merchandise
• Establish work schedules
• Sell merchandise
• Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
• Resolve issues, including customer requests and complaints
• Organize and maintain inventory
• Coordinate activities of workers
• Conduct performance reviews

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
• Language: English
