We are seeking a skilled Carpenter Rough to join our client’s team. Immigration support is potentially available for the right candidate, making this an exciting opportunity for both local and international applicants.

Job Details

• Location: Maple Ridge, BC
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $2,000 bi-weekly for 80 to 88 hours
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
• Special Commitments: Day shifts from 08:00 to 16:30
• Vacancies: 1

Overview

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
• Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures

Credentials

• Carpenter Trade Certification
