• Salary: $2,251.2 to $2,729.6 bi-weekly, negotiable
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full time
• Overtime: Required, Day shifts

Responsibilities

• Check products for correct shapes, dimensions, and other specifications.
• Cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, weld, or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products.
• Document work completed.
• Investigate problems to fix or make minor repairs.
• Lay out, set up, and operate one or more light or heavy metalworking machines.
• Operate presses or other forging machines to perform hot or cold forging to shape or form metal.
• Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions.
• Select and transport materials to work area manually or using crane or hoist.

Qualifications

• Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
• Experience: 5 years or more.
• Certificates: Overhead Crane Certification.
• Skills: Experience with brakes, overhead crane, bending, cutting machines, and punching.

Work Environment

• Dusty and noisy environment.
• Combination of sitting, standing, walking.
• Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
• Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• Own transportation required.
