Our client is seeking a Retail Store Supervisor. Visa sponsorship is available for international applicants, including those with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Salary: $18.50 per hour
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
• Work Hour: 40 hours per week
• Special Commitments: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff (apprentices, stages hands, design team, etc.)
• Assign sales workers to duties
• Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
• Authorize payments by cheque
• Authorize returns of merchandise
• Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
• Supervise and coordinate activities of workers
• Supervise office and volunteer staff

Additional Information

• Languages: English
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
• Personal Suitability: Accurate, Customer-focused, Team player, Excellent communication skills, Flexibility, Organised, Reliable, Dependable
