Our client is seeking a Retail Store Supervisor to oversee operations at their location in Edmonton, AB. Immigration support may be available for qualified applicants, including candidates with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Requirements

Education

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

Minimum experience of 7 months to less than 1 year is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff (apprentices, stages hands, design team, etc.)
• Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
• Authorize payments by cheque
• Establish work schedules
• Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
• Conduct performance reviews
• Supervise office and volunteer staff
