Our client is seeking candidates for a dental practice position. The employer is open to applications from Canadian citizens, permanent or temporary residents, and other candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

• 1 to less than 7 months

Work Setting

• Dental practice
• Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial dental assessments
• Consult with dentists on patient care
• Supervise dental assistants in their health care functions
• Take dental impressions
• Instruct patients regarding oral hygiene
• Clean and stimulate the gums to prevent gum disease
• Apply fluoride treatment
• Remove stains and deposits from teeth
• Administer local anesthetics
• Take, develop, and mount X-rays
• Apply and remove temporary dressings
• Diagnose type and severity of diseases
• Perform routine extraction of teeth
• Remove sutures
• Fill cavities
• Perform restorative and orthodontic procedures under the direction of a dentist
• Replace portions of crowns and perform other restoration techniques
