Our client is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor. Visa sponsorship may be available for qualified international candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

• Location: 5811 York Road, Duncan, BC, V9L 3S2
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $38.00 hourly / 35 to 40 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
• Special Commitments: Flexible hours

Responsibilities

• Establish methods to meet work schedules
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
• Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
• Hire food service staff
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage

Qualifications

• Languages: English
• Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year or equivalent experience
• Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
