Restaurant Service Manager

We are currently hiring a Restaurant Service Manager for our client — a leading establishment in Tofino’s culinary scene known for its contemporary Mediterranean cuisine, exceptional hospitality, and commitment to seasonal, pristine ingredients.

What You’ll Bring

• 2+ years of management experience in a full-service restaurant
• Entrepreneurial mindset with an “outside-the-box” attitude
• Serving It Right certification (Food Safe is a plus)
• Strong wine and bar knowledge to support our sommelier and mixologist
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Proficiency in POS systems, Microsoft Word, and Excel
• Passion for outstanding customer service and leadership
• Ability to manage and mentor front-of-house staff
• Experience with recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation
• Collaboration on menu development and team product knowledge
• Upholding company policies and service standards
• Labour management and scheduling
• Inventory and cost control for liquor, wine, beer, and N/A beverages
• Assist with social media engagement
• Participation in community events and fostering local relationships
• Full-time, hands-on role with availability on weekends and statutory holidays
