Our client is seeking a Restaurant Manager for a location in Sechelt, BC. Opportunities for immigration support are available for overseas candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

• Salary: $28.00 to $37.00 hourly (To be negotiated), 30 to 40 hours per week
• Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time

• Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Responsibilities

• Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant’s profits
• Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies
• Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget
• Monitor revenues to determine labour cost
• Plan and organize daily operations
• Set staff work schedules
• Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
• Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
• Organize and maintain inventory
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
• Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
• Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities
• Participate in marketing plans and implementation
