Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Restaurant Manager to oversee operations at their establishment. This role may provide support for candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit, including possible immigration assistance.

Job Details

• Location: 3430 Sheppard Avenue East, Scarborough, ON, M1T 3K4
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $25.00 to $38.00 hourly (to be negotiated), 40 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full time

Responsibilities

• Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant’s profits
• Evaluate daily operations
• Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget
• Monitor revenues to determine labour cost
• Monitor staff performance
• Plan and organize daily operations
• Recruit staff
• Set staff work schedules
• Supervise staff
• Train staff
• Determine types of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
• Conduct performance reviews
• Organize and maintain inventory
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
• Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
• Participate in marketing plans and implementation
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns
• Provide customer service

Qualifications

• Languages: English
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
• Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
