Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Restaurant Manager for their establishment. This role offers visa sponsorship options, making it suitable for international applicants.

Responsibilities

• Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant’s profits.
• Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen, and cleaning supplies.
• Evaluate daily operations.
• Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget.
• Monitor revenues to determine labour cost.
• Monitor staff performance.
• Plan and organize daily operations.
• Recruit and train staff.
• Set staff work schedules and supervise staff.
• Conduct performance reviews.
• Enforce health and safety regulations.
• Organize and maintain inventory.
• Provide excellent customer service and manage events.
• Prepare reports and budget estimates.

Qualifications

• Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 3 to 5 years in a similar role.
• Languages: Proficient in English.
• Certificates: Smart Serve and Safe Food Handling Certificate.

Work Conditions

• Fast-paced environment.
• Physically demanding with the ability to stand for extended periods.
• Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Additional Information

• Work Location: On site, Niagara Falls, ON.
• Salary: $36.00 to $40.00 per hour (To be negotiated).
• Employment Terms: Permanent, full-time.
