Our client is seeking a skilled Restaurant Cook to join their team in Terrace, BC. This position offers potential visa sponsorship options for eligible candidates, including immigration support for those with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Location: 4828 Highway #16 West, Terrace, BC, V8G 1L6
• Salary: $20.00 to $22.00 hourly (to be negotiated) / 35 hours per week
• Employment Type: Permanent, Full time
• Work Setting: On site, Restaurant, Urban area
• Special Commitments: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Overtime available

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
• Order supplies and equipment
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
• Clean kitchen and work areas
• Manage kitchen operations

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
• Languages: English
