We are seeking a skilled Renovation Carpenter for our client. This role offers opportunities for candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

• Salary: $25.00 to $35.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 30 to 48 hours per week
• Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
• Work Hours: Day, Morning

Overview

• Education: Other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience
• Experience: 5 years or more
• Language: English

Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes using measuring tools
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roofs
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
• Instruct apprentices and supervise other workers
• Estimate costs and materials

Required Qualifications

• Carpenter Trade Certification
• Carpenter Red Seal Certificate
• Bondable

Additional Information

• Own transportation required
• Must have a valid driver’s licence
• Physical demands include handling heavy loads and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
