Job Title: Renovation Carpenter

Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Renovation Carpenter to join their team. This is a permanent, full-time position with a salary ranging from $30.00 to $31.00 CAD per hour, based on experience and qualifications. The role requires candidates to work on-site at various locations, primarily in construction and renovation environments.

Responsibilities
Key Tasks:

• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood and other materials.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware.
• Supervise other workers on renovation projects.

Job Details

• Location: Surrey, BC
• Work Environment: On-site, at heights, in confined spaces, with possible exposure to noise and dust.
• Transportation: Willing to travel regularly.
• Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.

Requirements
Education:

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience:

• 2 to 3 years in carpentry or related field.

Additional Information

• Personal suitability: Accurate, excellent communication, good judgment, reliable, team player.
• Must have own tools and safety equipment, including steel-toed boots and safety glasses.
