Your Opportunity:Complex Medical Detox (CMD) is a 6-bed unit with a 2:1 nursing ratio to accommodate the high acuity of our client base. We are looking for nurses who enjoy working with acute and complex medical patients and who also have a passion for patient-centered care with an emphasis on harm reduction. The Complex Medical Detox nurse works as a collaborative member of the health care team, delivering holistic, comprehensive care to meet the patient-centered goals of our clients. Our team includes, but is not limited to, General Internal Medicine, ARCH, Social Work, and Psychiatry.

Key Responsibilities:The CMD Nurse provides leadership in nursing assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating care. The nurse is required to complete assessments, interventions, documentation, and plan both hospital and continuing/community-based care for patients with complex medical needs compromised by detoxification. Must have excellent assessment, documentation, organization, communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.

Description:As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide a wide variety of nursing services to patients, families, communities, and populations, while ensuring their safety and well-being. You will utilize nursing processes through critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making, as well as teach, counsel, and advocate on behalf of patients and their families. You will play a leadership role in supporting an integrated and holistic approach to patient care, health promotion, and maintenance.

Salary:Provisional Permit Holders shall be paid $39.58/hour – $54.16/hour. Upon being entered into the register of Registered Nurses, the rate of pay shall be adjusted to the applicable rate for a Registered Nurse.
