As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide a wide variety of nursing services to patients, families, communities, and populations, ensuring their safety and well-being. In your role, you will utilize nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making, as well as teach, counsel, and advocate on behalf of patients and their families. You will play a leadership role in supporting an integrated and holistic approach to patient care, health promotion, and maintenance. You will deliver safe, quality patient- and family-centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values of our client.

Required Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
• Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support – Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
• If you have not practiced as a Registered Nurse within the last five years, completion of the following free courses is required: CRNA Medication Management – Chapters 1 – 4 and the NextGenU Health Assessment Resources Certification.

Additional Required Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited nursing education program.

• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support – Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

The candidate must have the physical capability to perform all aspects of the role, including the ability to lift up to and including 50 lbs. Basic computer skills are required. Strong leadership and critical thinking skills are essential, as well as the ability to direct other healthcare workers, problem solve, and escalate clinical concerns in a timely manner. The position requires strong communication and organizational skills, and a commitment to patient- and family-centered care while maintaining collaborative working relationships with patients, families, and team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in ACLS, TNCC, PALS, and completion of ENPEP modules would be preferred.
• Connect Care training would be an asset.
