Your Opportunity:We are looking for a passionate Registered Nurse to join our interdisciplinary team in our Labour and Delivery department. As the Registered Nurse, you will be utilizing our values and Patient First Strategy in your practice to provide leading care to Albertans. Our Labour and Delivery department has 13 beds and a special care nursery. There is also an opportunity to cross train to Pediatrics for a varied experience. Description:As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide a wide variety of nursing services to patients, families, communities, and populations, while ensuring their safety and well-being. In your role, you will utilize nursing processes through critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making, while teaching, counseling, and advocating for patients and their families. You will play a leadership role in supporting an integrated and holistic approach to patient care, health promotion, and maintenance. You will provide safe, quality, patient-centered care reflecting our shared vision and values.

• Hourly Pay Rate: $39.58 – $54.16
• Temporary Employee Class: Temp P/T Benefits
• Minimum Salary: $43.26
• Maximum Salary: $59.21

Required Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
• Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support – Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
• If you have not practiced as a Registered Nurse within the last five (5) years, completion of required courses is necessary.

Additional Required Qualifications:

• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
• Recent experience in an acute care Maternal Child unit within the last 2 years.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current Obstetrical Education (i.e. MoreOB).
• Current Fetal Health Surveillance course.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NVCI).
