Our client is seeking a dedicated Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) to join their team. Visa sponsorship may be considered for international applicants.

• Salary: $23.86 hourly, 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Assess children’s development to prepare tailored learning plans.
• Assist co-workers with housekeeping and cooking duties.
• Develop and implement child-care programs supporting the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
• Maintain daycare equipment.
• Lead activities, such as storytelling and crafting.
• Encourage children to express creativity through various mediums.
• Guide children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
• Prepare snacks and arrange rooms for lunch and rest periods.
• Observe children for signs of behavioral issues and report to parents or supervisors.
• Establish guidelines for behavior and conduct staff meetings to discuss progress.
• Build collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers.
• Plan an environment ensuring the health and well-being of children.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.
• Certificates: Emergency child care first aid and CPR; Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate; First Aid Certificate; CPR Certificate.
• Experience: Experience in a childcare setting is an asset.
• Languages: Proficiency in English.
