About the Team

The Merchandising team develops and executes transformative global product strategies, ensuring the right assortment is in place to fulfill guest needs. This team identifies opportunities to maximize guest demand through a deep understanding of global marketplace dynamics and regional considerations.

Core Responsibilities

• Share regional insights (guest, products, market trends) with Global Merchandising to inform product strategies.
• Develop regional merchandising strategies and omni-channel approaches for the season.
• Create product assortment that reflects brand consistency and regional relevance.
• Manage class assortment and clustering to meet capacity targets.
• Collaborate with Planning to execute seasonal regional buys against global product goals.
• Prepare and present decks for Buy Reviews, including strategies and investments.
• Validate buy accuracy and resolve issues collaboratively with global teams.
• Support Open-to-Buy conversations aligned with Planning on class targets.
• Review business performance regularly, delivering insights and recommendations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Retail or Merchandising Management is an asset.
• Minimum five years of Merchandising or Buying experience required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and PO and Price Management software.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret multiple data points.
• Mastery of retail mathematics and ability to drive business based on financial indicators.
• Ability to balance analytical and creative tasks effectively.
• Strong understanding of lifestyle and fashion trends related to the active and wellness industry.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to present to senior leadership.
• Willingness to travel (domestic and international) and work on the retail floor.

Compensation and Benefits

Our client’s compensation offerings recognize exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $96,800 – 127,100 annually, depending on market location and experience.
