Job Overview

Our client is seeking a recruiter – employment to join their team in North York, ON. This is a permanent, full-time position offering competitive hourly wages between $19.00 and $22.00, subject to negotiation. Immigration support is potentially available for the right candidate, and applications are welcomed from other candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Responsibilities

• Administer staff consultation and grievance procedures
• Identify current and prospective staffing requirements
• Provide information or services, such as employee assistance and counselling
• Collect and screen applicants
• Contact potential applicants to arrange interviews
• Recruit graduates of colleges, universities, and other educational institutions
• Co-ordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates
• Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures
• Negotiate settlements of appeals and disputes and co-ordinate termination of employment process
• Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training
• Supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing and record-keeping duties
• Recruit and hire staff

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree
• Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
• Languages: English (Mandarin is an asset)
• Work Location: On-site mandatory
