Job Overview

Our client is seeking an administrator, recreation to join their professional athletic team organization. This hybrid position offers the potential for visa sponsorship for the right candidate. Candidates can apply with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Location: Kanata, ON
• Salary: $25.00 to $27.00 hourly (to be negotiated), 40 hours per week
• Employment Type: Permanent full-time
• Working Conditions: Day, Evening, Weekend, Flexible Hours, Morning

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage programs and services
• Provide technical and professional advice
• Develop policies and procedures to implement programs
• Organize and administer national and provincial programs (training, coaching or officiating)
• Manage the daily operations of a sport or recreational organization
• Prepare budgets and monitor revenues and expenses
• Direct fundraising drives
• Arrange for sponsorships from public and private organizations

Qualifications

• Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience
• Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
• Certificates: CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate

Skills

• Strong computer skills (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work in a hybrid setting (both in-person and remotely)
