Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Quality Control Technician for the food processing industry. We are open to candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit, and visa sponsorship may be considered for the right applicant.

Job Details

• Location: Mississauga, ON
• Salary: $27.80 hourly for 40 hours per week
• Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
• Vacancies: 1

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and conduction of chemical experiments.
• Compile records for analytical studies.
• Implement Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Develop programs for sampling and analysis to maintain quality standards.
• Assist in developing standards and health and safety measures.
• Compile records and interpret experimental or analytical results.
• Develop and conduct programs of sampling and analysis.
• Conduct safety training programs.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in quality assurance and control.
• Certificates: Safe Quality Foods (SQF) Certificate preferred.
• Knowledge of HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) is required.
